Modern Geo Wedding With a Pastel Palette

It was awesome to be part of The Big Fake Wedding in San Diego. This included a vow renewal with the sweetest, romantic couple David and Vika. It was an incredible team of vendors coming together to re-imagine their day via the modern geo theme with a pastel color palette. The New Children’s Museum really set the modern tone and provided a beautiful playing ground for all of us to get creative.

Vika was thrilled with the florals and I really went for it with a massive bouquet. This may have been one of the largest ones I’ve created and she worked it like a champ.

It was such an incredible experience to work with so many talented vendors to bring this day to life, and David and Vika couldn’t have been more lovely an appreciative. Planning was done by the charismatic Kayla from Southern House Events, Hair and Makeup was done by Emilie and her team at Dapper Dolly, Vika’s beautiful wedding dress was by Something Bleu So Cal and below I’m sharing some of my favorite shots by Christa Norman Photo.

Emily and Matt’s Tropical Boho Wedding at The Woodshed

Emily and Matt went for a “tropical bohemian” inspired wedding at The Woodshed in Vista, CA. Emily knew exactly what she wanted for her bouquet, and she was so down for all of the proteas, eucalyptus, ginger and cascading amaranthus (and buff because that beauty was heavy!). They had one of my favorite ceremony installations that had giant palms, dried palms, tons of greenery and of course the ever so popular pampas grass.

All of these moments were beautifully captured by the talented Vivienne Tyler Photography with the day led by the wonderful Brenda Doyle of Benny & Blaire Events

Emily’s unique macrame dress from Rue de Seine that she scored via The Dress Theory San Diego was one of my favorite Boho looks.

You can never go wrong with the unique, gorgeous decor from Hostess Haven . The pink goblets and napkins really added that extra zing to the deep hues of the venue and color palette. Rentals from Backyard Cedars Events and Anar Party Rentals added those finishing touches that made everything cohesive . The ever so popular Miho Catering Co provided the delicious food.
