A Pastel Paradise: Spring Wedding Flowers That Hit Just Right in Orange County

Spring showed off, and we weren’t mad about it.

For this garden wedding at Five Crowns Venue in Corona Del Mar in Orange County, we went all in on the season, pastel-colored flowers, and (mostly) locally sourced blooms. We’ve been designing floral magic for weddings in Orange County for nearly a decade now, and this one felt extra special. Probably because the couple gave us full permission to create something fresh, honest, and artful.

And that we did.

Florals That Leaned into the Season

If you're planning a spring wedding, we’re just going to say it: you hit the jackpot.

Everything is blooming, local flower farms are bursting with the good stuff, and the color palettes are so stunning For this one, we sourced seasonal blooms from flower farms in Orange County, which meant we got to play with texture, shape, and scent, all while supporting the growers we love.

The Wedding Ceremony Flower Installation

The ceremony was intimate, joyful, but let’s talk about that floral installation. Suspended above the couple as they exchanged vows, this hanging garden moment brought all the color and texture we love:

  • A soft pastel palette featuring quicksand roses, ranunculus, and blue delphinium

  • Locally grown blooms sourced from flower farms in Orange County

  • Delicate movement from trailing vines and textural greens

  • Design that framed, not overshadowed—letting the couple be the focus

It was equal parts garden daydream and modern romance, a floating floral cloud that made the moment unforgettable.

That Bridal Bouquet Though…

We’ve made a lot of bridal bouquets in our time, but this one? This one was chef’s kiss.

We designed it with white sweet pea, blue delphinium, clematis, and ranunculus - an interesting, textural bouquet with bounce and movement - soft but structured. Dreamy, but grounded. A bouquet that looked and felt like spring in full bloom, just beautiful flower stems doing their thing.

Centerpieces That Did the Most (In the Best Way)

For the reception, we created lush, airy centerpieces filled with quicksand roses, ranunculus, and blue delphinium. Each table had its own personality, nothing too matchy-matchy, but the overall vibe was cohesive, elevated, and wild in the right places.

Quicksand roses brought the perfect blush-neutral tone, anchoring the table centerpieces without pulling too much focus. Blue delphinium added a cool contrast and movement, while local grown ranunculus tied the floral arrangement together

Everything was artfully arranged to invite curiosity. To feel effortless. And most importantly, to feel like our wedding couple.

Do You Need Flowers For a Welcome Table?

While not essential, flowers on your welcome table instantly elevate the arrival experience for your guests. It’s the first thing they see when they walk in, and a chance to set the tone for your entire celebration. For this wedding, we created a standout centerpiece using quicksand roses, soft blue delphinium, and ranunculus. The flower arrangement was full and artful, offering a warm, romantic first impression. Whether you’re displaying a guest book, welcome drinks, or just making a statement, a floral moment here adds personality and polish in one.

Bud Vases With Big Main Character Energy

Flower filled bud vases are magic. Scattered down long tables or grouped in clusters, they give space for the flowers to breathe, and for the vibe to shine.

For this wedding, we filled bud vases with pink larkspur, chamomile and sweet smelling stock. The result? Whimsical, charming, and so very spring. Guests leaned in. Cameras came out. Every table had its own little floral moment.

Local Flowers, Always

We don’t just talk about sustainability in floral design, we create with it in mind. That means we avoid floral foam and dyed blooms and work with growers right here in Southern California. For this wedding, nearly every stem came from flower farms in Orange County.

Using local flowers means your designs don’t just look good, they feel good. You’re supporting small farms. You’re minimizing waste. And your blooms stay fresher, longer. It’s a win-win-win.
